The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) on November 13, 2025. The Maricopa Regional Continuum of Care Board approved adding seven new seats to the Board of Directors to align with the requirements and priorities outlined in the NOFO. These seats include:
- 1 representative of the business community
- 1 representative of a faith group or faith-based service provider organization
- 3 elected public officials from jurisdictions within Maricopa Regional CoC (1 West Valley representative, 1 East Valley representative, and 1 Central Valley or regional representative)
- 2 representatives from law enforcement agencies operating within the Maricopa Regional CoC (these two agencies must represent different geographic areas of the region)
