Funding Opportunities

Below is a list of funding opportunities to address homelessness and housing. Open Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), and Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) are shown with a link to the opportunity, a brief description, funder, and deadline.

CoC FY24-25 NOFO Reinstated On Friday, January 8, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) re-released the FY24-25 Notice of Funding Opportunity with updated information for the FY2025 process. CoCs have been instructed to follow the guidance of this NOFO, though the final ruling for State of Washington, et al. v. HUD (No. 1:25-cv-00626) and National Alliance to End Homelessness, et al. v. HUD (No. 1:25-cv-00636) has not yet been decided. CoC staff will continue to monitor for updates.

Annual Notice of Funding Opportunity

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) annually releases the Continuum of Care Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), a grant that supports our community’s commitment to ending homelessness. The complete program regulations can be found under 24 CFR Part 578.

The FY 2024-2025 NOFO was re-released by HUD on January 9, 2026, with a regional submission date of February 9, 2026. Projects awarded in FY24 are not required to reapply and instead may be eligible for FY25 funds using their FY24 application submissions. These projects will not be submitting a local or e-snaps application, and no action is required at this time. Funding for new projects is pending further information from HUD and remains on pause. Key Updates for Applicants

Providers awarded funds in FY24 looking to renew their projects do not have any actions to take at this time. Any current providers looking to reallocate funds must contact CoC staff as soon as possible at communications@maricopacoc.org
